Bundesmann Rain Tester used for determination of water repellency of fabrics to the rain-shower method. Test specimens of the fabrics under test are simultaneously exposed to a simulated heavy rain shower. The water repellency of the fabric is assessed by comparison of the wet fabrics to a standard chart.The water absorbed by the specimens is determined after the test is over which is the measure for resistance to wetting. It consists of 4 specimen holders of 100mm diameter cups. Rain is produced by 300 pieces nozzle and falls down from 1500mm height from the fabrics. It is set with the centrifuge device.
