The hydrostatic head tester accurately and swiftly determines the water permeability of fabrics. This device is designed for thick fabrics (canvas, tarred canvas, tarp, etc...). The hydrostatic head is covered with the fabric to estimate the permeability of the fabric. The fabric sample is constantly pressurized with water at a stable speed until 3 drops of water penetration is realized. The pressure of the third penetrated place is recorded.
