It used to determine the shrinkage of free stress fabrics samples that were subjected to steaming in a closed area. Device has an automatic timer and 4 sample injectors with a stainless steel fabric support.
The fixing plate steam is used along with the steam rollers while testing the shrinkage laxity of fabrics. The plate is used to determine the shrinkage percentage by marking the fabrics on pre-test on a 250 mm bench and evaluate the shrinkage percentage after the test.
